I've seen beach transport chairs with enormous tires, but that's not what I want. Like Sue, I want to be able to take my Mom on hiking trails and fire roads. What would serve would be a transport chair with mountain-bike wheels (all four). I haven't seen anything like that on the market and am now wondering about the possibility of buying a used transport chair and converting it myself.&lt;/p&gt;

Unfortunately the starting price (before options) is $3,150. More than I can afford.&lt;/p&gt;
