Wheelchair Heights

Question: What is the average height of a wheel chair? I am building a reception desk and I need the height to build it to. ~C. Longbottom

Answer: According to the American Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities, the average height of tables or counters should be 28 inches (2.3 feet) to 34 inches (2.8 feet) above the finish floor.
